Natural Turquoise Rough from Nevada:
This turquoise from Nevada is absolutely natural, but it will polish well without any treatment. Turquoise is a copper-based mineral (hydrated copper aluminum phosphate).  This material takes a fine polish with diamond followed with green rouge. (Zam is a brand name for green rouge.)

Peacock turquoise from Crescent Valley, Nevada has a very unusual coloring and pattern. It has never been available in large quantities and is sought after by collectors. Stones cut from this turquoise are stunning. This turquoise is absolutely natural, but it will polish well without any treatment.

Natural Red Mountain Turquoise Rough - $500/pound
Locality: Carico Lake Valley, Lander County, Nevada

Red Mountain turquoise is often known for it's dark spiderwebbing. However, this material has a lighter matrix mixed in with a fine, pale blue to blue-green color. Red Mountain turquoise is very difficult to find. We obtained it from an old collection. This turquoise is absolutely natural, but it will polish well without any treatment.
